Elton John's Party Raises $5.1 Million for HIV/AIDS Research

Elton John's annual Academy Award viewing party raised $5.1 million for HIV/AIDS research. The star-studded event welcomed guest such as, Ellen DeGeneres, Sean Penn, Billy Joel, Seal, Hedi Klum, and Stevie Wonder to name a few. John co-hosted the party with his partner David Furnish. Guest were even entertained by Elton himself. They also enjoyed a dinner and a live auction. Elton John has been hosting his Academy Award viewing party for 12 years and has raised more than $125 million for HIV/AIDS research.
